What is Pu-erh tea?
Pu-erh is a fermented tea from Yunnan, China, known for its deep, earthy flavors and health benefits. It comes in two main varieties: Raw (Sheng) which ages gracefully over decades, and Ripe (Shou) which undergoes accelerated fermentation for a smooth, mellow taste.
Is your tea organic?
Yes! All our teas are sourced from organic-certified gardens in Yunnan and meet FDA standards for export.
How should I store Pu-erh?
Store in a cool, dry place away from strong odors. Avoid direct sunlight and sealed plastic containers. Ideally, use breathable containers like paper or clay jars.
Does Pu-erh contain caffeine?
Yes, but generally less than coffee. Ripe Pu-erh has slightly less caffeine than raw Pu-erh. The caffeine level also decreases with longer aging.
